Our team are all highly skilled business specialists who have many years of experience working with clients across a wide variety of projects. Our team combines a depth of technical skills with a people-focused approach that inspires confidence and ultimately delivers better results for you.

It’s perhaps not surprising then that we have developed very strong long-term relationships with the vast majority of our clients. We believe that these relationships have been nurtured by the way in which we focus on project execution and aim to deliver results as soon as possible.

Chris Benham

Founder of Mobius Services, Chris started his career with Sainsbury’s and rose through store management to senior project management roles, which included delivering the market-leading Nectar store loyalty card. He is a natural fixer who likes nothing better than helping to solve the issues, problems and challenges that other companies face. Recently he project managed the first implementation of innovative US profit amplification software for one of the top four UK supermarkets.

John Green

Co-Director, John has over 20 years FTSE 100 procurement and supply chain experience including roles as Procurement Director for Rentokil and Head of Procurement for Sainsbury’s. John has first hand experience in driving profit and boosting savings through high performing and efficient procurement teams. He was a member of the judging panel for the 2009 CIPS Supply Management Awards. More recently, he has been working on a cost optimisation project for a well-known UK High Street fashion retailer.

 

Bernard Amos

During his 25-year career in the oil industry, Bernard held senior posts in distribution, marketing and finance before taking up a strategic role in management development. He specialises in all aspects of relationship management, particularly negotiation skills, which is an area he has focused on for over 20 years. He has also studied and researched supply chain management, team working, leadership, stress management, total quality and customer service capability.

 

Liz Christie

Described as ‘one of those rare individuals’, Liz is a change manager with over 20 years in business design, operations and customer experience. Her particular expertise is in programme design and delivery, change management, business analysis and process re-engineering. Her clients have included: AXA Wealth, Barclays, Sainsbury’s, Vodafone, Camden and Islington Councils, Devon County Council, ActionAid and the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

Jonathan Clark

Jonathan comes to us with over 25 years retail experience gained in store management, leading business change, multi-site operational support, new product development, product sourcing, new retail site launches, commercial category buying, and change management projects. With an infectious personality, you’ll find he immediately engages with your teams and key personnel. While your clients will easily warm to him and recognise the skills he can bring to support your business. Customer service is an integral part of any business in whatever industry and, from day one, Jonathan clearly understands how ‘real, honest customer service’ can transform your business from good to exceptional.

 

Lynne Dickens

Our resident marketing and events guru! Whether you need help with rebranding, organising a press launch or travelling show, launching a new product range or simply getting more business through different channels, Lynne is an extremely efficient project manager. She cut her teeth in the corporate world of banking, before working agency-side for a while and then as a senior marketing manager for two international businesses. Her B2B and B2C experience spans various sectors including the arts, children’s TV, education, construction, finance, law, manufacturing and retail.

 

Jackie Haffenden

As an accomplished Human Resources Director and Business Transformation/Change Manager, Jackie has worked across the UK, Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. She has substantial board level experience, managing HR and business teams through critical business changes, such as organisation re-design, new business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures/separations, business relocation and restructuring. With a strong commercial background and broad range of business skills, former Watson Wyatt Worldwide consultant, Jackie operates successfully in strategic, operational and consultancy roles. You’ll find she leads and develops teams to achieve stretch business targets through innovation, energy, challenge, resilience and pragmatism. You might say Jackie truly is one in a million!

David Ingle

David Ingle is one of Mobius’ thoroughbreds. Former racing jockey and trainer, David is an accomplished executive with significant experience of leading businesses through change, restructure and transformation. Former executive of The Point to Point Racing Company, David is used to going over the jumps and leading through to the finish post. You’ll find he brings strong ethics and stakeholder management with a broad commercial mindset. He’s passionate about the development of others, a respectful influencer and has a work attitude that is often evident in a professional sportsman.

 

Kathryn Proudlove

Having spent 17 years within the administration of the horse racing industry in Great Britain, Kathryn has programme management experience ranging from event management, corporate hospitality and client relations through to the project management of various major industry changes. Regardless of the size and scale of any change, she has always been able to gain the trust and respect of colleagues and customers alike, even when the proposed changes may not have been welcomed. This has been achieved through her emphasis on communication, willingness to get involved and on-going commitment to the finer details.

Andy Renshaw

Andy has 25 years experience in indirect procurement with a primary focus on IT and telecoms. He has developed and led indirect category and IT sourcing teams in the business services and retail quick service restaurant (QSR) sectors for major global companies. In the IT category, he has established procurement as a critical contributor and consulting function to global and regional IT leadership teams. Most recently, he has been engaged in a broad spectrum of IT procurement initiatives delivering cost and operational benefits on projects in UK, Europe, North America, Pacific and Asia regions.

 

Mark Smith

Mark is a professional business director with a successful and proven career in the management of organisational change. He has extensive experience in leading board level, key stakeholder groups developing strategic plans, gaining the agreement and authority to proceed. You’ll find he’s a highly motivated individual with a ‘keep on the front foot’ leadership style, balanced with a thoughtful, adaptable and considered approach to meet the needs of team and stakeholders. He stays in the know, managing project and programme issues efficiently, prioritising key deliverables and actions required to deliver to time and budget.

Kathy Stiff

‘Customer Centricity’ are two key words to describe Kathy’s experience and skill set gained from managing customer service operations for Sainsbury, Audi Volkswagen, Nissan and Eastern Electricity (now EDF Energy), combined with over 10 years as a customer care practitioner. Her work involves all aspects of customer service delivery, from complaint handling to quality management, including the delivery of programmes to enhance the customer experience. Each delivered with a nurturing style that coaches business owners and leaders to facilitate change that increases customer focus, loyalty and retention. Her experience crosses many industries including public sector, banking, retail, leisure, financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing. Kathy is an accredited SDI® facilitator and certified NLP practitioner, and holds a Diploma in Business Support.

 

Roy Watts

What Roy doesn’t know about retail management, you could write on the back of a postage stamp! He’s worked with Mobius on and off for many years, and prides himself on his working knowledge of stores, retail operations and procedures, as well as his ability to produce and deliver highly effective training. Outside of the workplace, Roy is the Chairman of the Bluebell (Steam) Railway in Sussex and we’re very proud of him – he was awarded an MBE for services to the Railway Heritage movement in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2014.
