Operating Model Redesign and Delivery for Multi-Site Leisure Business

Mobius were asked to design and implement a new operating model for a multi-site leisure, gaming and hospitality business. Our aim was to provide an operating model that provided the platform for sustainable growth, drive consistency across the estate and deliver operational efficiencies. Working alongside internal teams we successfully developed and agreed new management and team structures, clarifying all reporting lines, roles and responsibilities. Our recommendations were approved by the board and our services were extended to manage the consultation process and implement the changes. This involved retaining the initial project team with the addition of implementation manager as well as sourcing a team of HR professionals to support a 12-week roll-out programme of the new structures. This was a team, all experienced in fast-paced retail, customer focused environments with excellent influencing and relationship building skills. This team covered the UK estate of 51 sites and 6,000 employees, successfully supporting the operation with all legal HR processes working to a very demanding timeline.
