Faced with a risk to one of the ‘critical’ elements of its customer proposition, owing to a third party supplier funding issue, our client was faced with the dilemma of ‘retain or replace’. And this was just before a major advertising campaign was due to go live! Enter Mobius with our disaster recovery plans.

We were able to provide help in two guises. First, John supported with a review of the commercials, followed by a ‘what if’ scenario building with possibilities that included models formed from both internal and external replacements, following negotiations with other third party suppliers. The internal route was chosen as it gave greater control at a critical time, and was more cost effective. The change was executed in a period of just two weeks.

Next, Chris led a four-strong Mobius field team, who were tasked to reduce both the emotional impact of the change on the 1,200 people involved and the stress of the TUPE process that they were being taken through. The team ensured those affected were welcomed into the client’s company. In brief, we did this by providing coaching to the site managers, 1:1s with the third party on-site managers and their teams, and auditing the documentation and process to ensure that was legal compliance – all while temperature checking the emotional side of the changes.
